PHG's operating culture is "Plan Your Work and Work Your Plan". General management at every property is tasked with preparing an Annual Business Plan inclusive of a marketing plan and operating budget. The Regional Vice President (RVP) for each property then uses this plan as a report card to monitor performance.
At PHG, our client's success is our success as well, so we take a hands-on approach to ensuring the healthy performance of every property. Corporate staff supports the efforts of the general manager and hotel employees. Careful monitoring of operating procedures and statistics, supplemented with regular site visits, provide an invaluable perspective on the performance of each property.
Our operating model involves two simultaneous objectives: empowering property management and supporting and guiding initiative at the corporate level. In order to provide the one-on-one support needed to accomplish these objectives, PHG has split our portfolio into three operating regions: Eastern, Central and Western. Each RVP is responsible for all facets of both managed and asset managed hotels. The RVPs are located in satellite offices in New York, Tulsa and Los Angeles. |
